Delhi Police nab 8 cybercriminals in Rajasthan, Gujarat

The Delhi Police recently apprehended eight cybercriminals from different locations in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Ankit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Dwarka, Delhi, Sunday said the gang lured victims into investing in fraudulent stock market schemes, offered fake part-time work opportunities, and created fake websites posing as representatives of Patanjali Wellness Center to defraud victims seeking discounted room bookings.

The DCP added that the Delhi Police formed dedicated investigation teams, analyzed technical data, and used intelligence inputs to trace the accused to Alwar, Jaipur, and Bharatpur in Rajasthan, and Vadodara in Gujarat.

The police have seized eight mobile phones, eight SIM cards, and approximately Rs 2.5 crore linked to fraudulent activities from the accused.
